Claw Boys Claw – It’s Not Me, The Horse Is Not Me – Part 1

After five years Amsterdam rockers Claw Boys Claw return with their cryptically titled new album ‘It’s Not Me, The Horse Is Not Me – Part 1’, released on February 23rd through Butler Records (CD) and Music On Vinyl (LP). It’s a typical Claw Boys Claw album, that melts Sixties Pop, Seventies Rock and all sorts of wonderful curiosities together.

Frontman Peter Te Bos and guitarist John Cameron form the steady core of the band since the beginning in 1983. Bass player Marcus Bruystens is part of the band since their comeback in 2007 and drummer Jeroen Kleijn (Daryll-An, Johan) is part of the band since 2013. This line-up recorded previous album ‘Hammer’ and is also responsible for ‘It’s Not Me, The Horse Is Not Me – Part 1’, the 12th record by the band. The album has their swampy, lively sound, at times wild and extravagant, at others introspectively serene, even psychedelic.

The release will be followed by a Dutch club tour this spring.
